As many of you know LUYAA experimented with Spring Indoor Football last year under the Linganore name. Well it was a great success so the football program has decided to expand the teams and make it an official Spring sport. That's right- Indoor Football.
The games are 8 vs 8
The focus is on Frederick County Teams
Linganore, Urbana, TJAY, Frederick Cadets, Walkersville Lions,
Tuscarora Titans have committed
All games are played Indoor
The games will be at the Frederick County Indoor Sports Center
Games will be played on Sat and Sun.
The season will start at the end of March, either the 20th or the
27th and go through June 5 (off for Easter weekend and Memorial Day
weekend)
Practices will be limited to 1 per week
The team sizes are 15 players per team
The age levels should be 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U (as long as they are in
the 8th grade)
No weight limits
The age cut-off date is Sept 1 2009- this means whatever the players
age was on Sept 1 2009 is what they are for the season
